in sainsbury's i tried searching for vegan cakes but i had no luck. but their ginger snaps biscuits are vegan, also if you go in the free from section, they have rich tea biscuits and shortcakes (but i wouldnt recommend them since they're so hard and the taste is rubbish, disgrace to veganism)

during christmas times though, sainsbury's christmas pudding is vegan

in holland and barretts, there are numerous products like, nana's no wheat cookies, trufree products and other fruit cakes / apple cakes.

but if you want carrot cakes, you will probably have to look for specific bakerys wherever you live because i had no luck finding carrot cake either (if you live in the east midlands i could help you find a bakery)

I have tried and made a raw vegan one with all the same ingredients, but not baked and the binder was Scottish oatcakes, and you pressed it into a greased cake mold and refrigerated it for 2 hours.

You not going to have a big selection, we when to a natural food store in Liverpool last time I visited my friend and his GF and I was shocked to see the limited stock and low selection of products, I am from and live in Canada so I get my local stuff and that imported from the US, I asked the clerk why so little US product, and she said it does not meet the EU standards for food and sanitation processes, so you may have to find alternatives or start inventing your own creations, I have loads.
